Each journey spans five distinct phases of the wilderness. Most runs take only a few minutes—long enough for meaningful choices, short enough to fit a break. Run length still depends on your decisions, resource management, and whether you survive to the end.
Individual runs are self-contained—if you fail, that journey ends. Meta-progression carries forward: badges unlock new starting options, dozens of achievements persist, the encyclopedia fills in as you discover events and factions, and each run teaches strategies for the next.
Each run is driven by an RNG seed that shapes procedural wilderness and event flow. No two journeys play out exactly the same—but your choices still matter, and meta-progression gives you more tools over time. Badges, items, seasons, and storms all influence what differs from run to run, so preparation and unlocks shape your odds as much as the seed itself.
